International Reinsurance

The International team was created in March 2009 with the introduction of David Eve and Colin Smith who brought specialism in international and marine business to the group. The team was expanded in personnel with the arrival of Martin Fall in March 2010 bringing experience of Financial and Professional risks business in new territories thereby creating a global spread of business for the group.

We have a combined experience of nearly 100 years which allows us to understand the needs and the requirements of our international producers, wherever they may be based. We work with retail and wholesale brokers, local insurance and reinsurance companies, Lloyd’s Syndicates and clients directly throughout the globe. As the business world is opening up over new boundaries we are able to demonstrate our adaptability to cater for the needs in each country and deliver with a personal, professional and friendly manner.

We all have a strong depth of knowledge with the products that we place and aim to understand the countries where we transact business and try to differentiate ourselves from our competitors by working collectively on accounts as a team.
We have access to the Lloyd’s market and international company markets to obtain competitive terms, either as lineslip or open market placements, from our chosen insurance partners. Our international presence enables us to discover new markets to work with and a willingness to expand into additional lines of business and products.
